Notes from ~U-E =


Here's the obligatory sitting-on-the-stairs shot required for Xig-Xal cosplay duos. XD (Mind you, Elemental did not know of this requirement at the time, so we're not assuming the established position at all. Also, we had no booze nor any other cup of liquid handy. Hey, wait...maybe we don't get credit for this, then...) Shots that actually show the coats properly coming up soon, but we like this one for the *mood* here.

Xaldin looks to be about to give Xigbar a deep not-heart-to-heart about something important. Maybe they are lamenting the fact that they can't actually lament. Maybe they're solemnly calculating square roots of negative numbers out of sheer boredom. Or perhaps Xal's just going to break it to him that Xig's heartless dragon is freekin ugly....?

So, U-E finally got me to do a Xaldin cosplay. I didn't think I'd do it because, lets face it, I'm not muscular enough.

Thankfully U-E is tiny so I end up looking more massive. :3 There is definitely a reason I keep U-E around.

This pic was our favorite of the set, after which we realized that for some reason Xig and Xal cosplayers all seem to end up on staircases sitting by each other. Well, damn. But I still like this pic. There is such a somber atmosphere...I'm half reminded of 'Last Reload.' Except that, obviously, this would have been BEFORE Xaldin died and so its a sort of 'Second-to-Last Reload.'

I hate Xaldin's hair, by the way. Those dreads are wool wrapped around gaskets, and so they weigh about five pounds and give me a headache to wear. It also takes upwards of an hour to put on.

Despite pain and discomfort, though, it was great to cosplay one of the great unloved characters in Kingdom Hearts.
And sideburns. WTF.
