Xigbar's Holiday Hat Fetish

I wanted to caption the frell out of this thing (especially since we haven't stuck up a comic in a million years so it's rather commemorative) but I gotta pop out and put in an appearance for family stuff right now.

So quickly...this comic is actually a brief summery of some highlights of the year. Yes indeed does it contain obscure references, but I made it secretly as a present for Saeru. ^_- The rest of you can enjoy the silly hats.

Panel 1 = Here's a nostalgic glimpse into one of the more horrific of Braig's pet-names for Dilan (in reference to the DQ confection.)
Also, I don't know why Xaldin is even bothering studying up on ME. Everyone know that Xemnas claims all the super lush heart-gathering missions for himself. (He got Coruscant , too, you know.)
The little Shadow there is no heart in particular, although I wonder how he whistles without a mouth...?

Panel 2 = It took me *days* to draw that scribbly nonsense there. I cannot make legible super-deformed chibi things to save my life. I almost gave up and just drew that part "un-deformed" too.

Panel 3 = So...Xig gave Xal a beret. A blueberry beret...to match his earring. The accompanying "personal fiesta" is just there for punctuation and implied sound effect. It's not a halo = it's a Tales tie-in, but mostly a Canadian thing. ^_- And of course, then Xig makes the mocking musical reference (coupled with innuendo) to Xal's actual next mission.
Xaldin, for his part, can be translated as "I can't wait til I can hate you again." His grammar is admittedly a bit off, but he's only been French for a few seconds, so do excuse him.

Panel 4 = Zexion and Vexen were gifted with Heartless Hats from us! They aren't too pleased about it though because they just aren't fun enough. XD Well... mostly their hairstyles just do not accommodate such manner of headgear. Vexen can't even sort out how to properly get it on.

Panel X = Oh yeah, and since I figured Xigbar would probably gift all of the inner posse (out of habit, if nothing else) Lex and Xem were supposed to be also included, but with what I had in mind, the whole tone of the comic would have been altered there, and we like keeping our dA as PG as possible here. (Maybe you'll get the "lost scene" someday.) ^_^;
